September as the ninth month of the year represents endings (making way for new beginnings). I’m sure we are unanimous in what we’d like to see the end of now. Unfortunately, we don’t know when that will happen, but we can, even in such unpredictable situations, shift our landscape and attitude from fear and despondency (that many are still feeling) to that of hope and excitement.
The current cosmic energies and planetary transits encourage just that, and support movement, activity, new approaches and the importance of being proactive this month. The challenge is in finding opportunities in the face of such uncertainties and opposition we are confronted with at present, and moving forward with trust, intuition and emotional wisdom.
“When there is a crisis, there is also opportunity, and in order to see the opportunity we need courage and trust. Courage helps us to feel that there is benefit in every unfolding scene of life. Trust helps us to stay stable and calm in the face of crisis. Courage and trust combined give us the assurance that everything will be fine’’ (so said a wise soul). It takes discipline to carry these qualities and attitudes forward, as well as confidence in your own ability to create and manifest the kind of future you would like for yourself once out of this pandemic.
Remember, old ways and old ideas lack energy and keep us stuck. That’s how lethargy can also set in. If you want to move on and feel more energised, you need to create and/or attempt new things in your life, no matter how small.
You can best do this if you are flexible, open, willing and brave enough to step out and explore new ways of implementing things.
Alvin Toffler, the late American writer, futurist and businessman, displayed great foresight when he said:
“The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn’’.
This is exactly what the pandemic is urging us to do. The shift it has triggered in our landscape, both on the personal and professional front, requires us to think outside the box; to restructure; to explore new methods; and to look for opportunities in the changes and losses experienced this year, if we want to make something of our lives, regain control and pursue or achieve our goals.
What better time than now, in this month of changing seasons, when we are also being supported by the cosmic energies and planets, to restructure your life and find that place of inspiration for change and new ways of doing things…to be open to let go and jump into something new.
An affirmation that may help you along is:
I am grateful that my life is changing course in a positive new direction.
