POST C0VID-19 GUIDELINES
We are delighted we are once again able to offer on-site treatments again.
We will, however, have to change the way we serve you. This is to ensure your health and safety as well as ours as we abide by the social distancing rules.
North Finchley Studio - Changes / adjustments
To ensure the safety of all who enter the studio, we are following the guidelines issued by the Government, NHS, and my professional association the Federation of Holistic Therapists FHT), regarding safe hygiene practice and the use of any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
First and foremost, the studio will need to document, with your consent, your contact information, time of arrival and departure, to enable us to trace any chain of infection in case the health authority requires it.
Before your appointment:
I will send you Covid-19 related forms to fill out prior to treatment. They need to be completed before I can give you a treatment.
2. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 on the day of your appointment, we will cancel and reschedule (In this case there will be no cancellation charge).
COVID-19 symptoms are defined as having a high temperature, a new continuous cough and a loss of sense of taste and or smell.
Other Important Changes:
You must attend your appointment alone (and not be accompanied by any children, friends, family member or companion, etc.)
It is important you arrive on time and text to inform of your arrival in order to be let in. If you are early please wait outside until it is safe for you to enter – this is in keeping with the social distancing rules.
You are required to wear a face mask on entering and exiting the salon. (Gloves are optional). We cannot allow you in without a mask. If you chose to remove your mask during treatment, you will be required to wash your hands or use hand sanitiser.
If you arrive without a mask, you can purchase one from the studio for £1 per piece.
On entering the studio you will be required to wash your hands. Hand sanitisers will be available throughout your appointment.
Please also avoid touching any surfaces where possible.
Water will no longer be provided during your treatment so please bring your own bottle, as it is important to drink some water after the treatment to help remove toxins and re-hydrate the body.
Blankets also can no longer be provided during your treatment so please bring your own covering, as body temperature can drop during treatment.
If this is your first session with me, please bring your own pen to fill out the assessment and consent form.
Specific boxes / dishes will be provided for placing your belongings (i.e. phone, keys, handbag, etc.) so please bring minimal items with you.
Please be assured all surfaces will be wiped clean with disinfectant prior to your arrival.
It is important you feel safe and comfortable at all times. In keeping with this, I have also successfully completed a course
on Control of Cross-Infection in a Post Covid-19 World , recognised by the FHT, and received the qualification in early July.
As Therapists we are now required to wear certain PPE, so I will use a face mask, gloves (and apron possibly) at all times in
If you have any concerns or questions, I am happy to talk them through with you. It is very important to me that you feel comfortable resuming your treatments, so please feel free to ask me anything, no matter how small.
As and when our guidelines change, we will adapt as we go along and keep you informed.
Thank you for your co-operation.
